Megan Jane

A little bit about me…

First of all, my full name is Megan Jane Howes although I never go by Megan Jane – just Megan.
I am a compulsive list maker, I get a buzz the moment I know I have to plan or organise anything, I adore being a mom and wife, I treasure time with my close girlfriends and, like most, I love a good laugh. I’m a fairly casual dresser (unless I’m attending a wedding of course), I always have music on in the background, my favourite colours are blue and white, I really, really dislike exercise but find it’s the only way to stay in shape, and I LOVE chocolate!

A few other bits you may like to know…

After a long relationship of fun including studying, partying, waterskiing, relocating from South Africa to New Zealand, travelling, skiing, major home renovation and gardening, my partner and I went back to our roots and got married in Durban. Immediately after our honeymoon we moved over to London and have been here since.  We’ve been married 7 years now and have 2 little boys who constantly keeps us on our toes.

My event experience varies – from conferencing to gala dinners in my earlier days with weddings and private functions being more my focus in recent years. I thoroughly enjoy working on weddings – I love being part of the buzz that comes from an excited couple eagerly awaiting their big day. And, after sometimes months of working together, to finally watch them unite at the alter (or registrar table), smiling at one another as if nothing else but that moment matters – it’s a great moment!
